An Image Resizer changes the pixel dimensions of an image. It can make an image smaller, create a specific width and height, scale an image by percentage, fit an image inside maximum dimensions, or place it into a fixed frame with cropping or background padding. This tool is built for practical image preparation: social graphics, website images, thumbnails, email banners, product photos, profile pictures, video thumbnails, blog images, and upload-ready assets that need consistent dimensions. Resizing is different from compression: the main goal is controlling pixels, aspect ratio, fit, fill, crop position, and output size, while file size changes are shown as a result rather than treated as the primary success metric.

How to use Image Resizer

Upload one or more images, paste a clipboard image where supported, drag files into the upload area, or load local sample images. Choose a sizing method: exact dimensions, percentage resize, maximum dimensions, or an editable preset. Set width and height, lock or unlock aspect ratio, choose whether enlargement is prevented, then select a fit mode. Use Fit to preserve the full image and output the fitted dimensions, Fill and crop to cover an exact frame, Contain with background to keep the full image inside an exact canvas, or Stretch only when deliberate distortion is acceptable. Review the active preview, crop position, pixel-change calculations, transparency warnings, print-size estimate, and output format.
