The Receipt Generator is a browser-based business document tool for teams that need to acknowledge goods, documents, assets, equipment, inventory, materials, packages, samples, or other items received. It is intentionally different from a payment receipt. A payment receipt confirms money received, while this general business receipt confirms physical items, business documents, issued assets, returned equipment, or stock received by a person, department, warehouse, office, or receiving team. The tool focuses on receiving records: receipt number, receipt date, receipt type, received from, received by, department, related purchase order, related delivery challan, optional invoice reference, item descriptions, product codes or asset IDs, quantity, unit, condition, remarks, received date, received time, verifier, signature, company seal placeholder, and verification notes.
Start by choosing a theme, brand color, receipt type, and status. Add the receiving business logo, optional sender logo, receiving business details, sender details, and received-by contact details. Enter a receipt number or auto-generate one, then set the receipt date, department, reference number, purchase order reference, delivery challan reference, and optional invoice reference. Use quick-add templates for office supplies, business documents, IT equipment, company assets, inventory stock, raw materials, marketing materials, delivery packages, return items, or a custom item. Edit each received item with description, code or asset ID, quantity, unit, condition, and remarks. Complete the verification section with received by, verified by, signature, seal placeholder, received date, received time, and verification notes. Review the live receipt preview, then choose Print or Download PDF.
A receiving team can create a receipt for campaign materials and company assets delivered to an office. They add the receiving business, the sender company, the receiving contact, receipt date, department, purchase order reference, and delivery challan reference. Then they use quick-add templates for Business Documents, Company Assets, and Marketing Materials, update quantities, add asset tags or document references, and note the condition of each item. The verifier adds their name, received date, received time, signature text, and verification notes. The final receipt confirms the items were received and checked, but it does not confirm payment or replace an invoice.
