For web content, aim for 60-70 (8th-9th grade level). Marketing copy should be 70-80 (7th grade). Academic writing typically scores 30-50. The ideal score depends on your target audience.

How is the Flesch Reading Ease score calculated?

The formula considers average sentence length and average syllables per word. Shorter sentences and simpler words yield higher (easier to read) scores.

Does readability affect SEO?

What is the Flesch-Kincaid Grade Level?
