An Aadhaar Masking Tool helps cover Aadhaar digits and other sensitive details before a document, screenshot, scan, photo, or form is shared. This browser-based tool has two modes. The image masking mode lets you upload a JPG, PNG, or WebP file, draw one or more masking rectangles over the sensitive areas, choose solid black, blur, or pixelate styling, and download a masked copy. The text masking mode lets you enter Aadhaar numbers with spaces or hyphens, validate the 12-digit format, and create masked formats such as XXXX XXXX 1234 or fully masked output. The tool does not use OCR, does not automatically detect Aadhaar numbers, and does not upload files or Aadhaar numbers to a server.

How to use Aadhaar Masking Tool

Use Image Masking when you have an Aadhaar screenshot, scan, photo, or document image. Upload the file, then drag on the preview to draw rectangles over Aadhaar digits or other details you want to hide. Select a mask to move or resize it, choose the mask style, review the preview, and download PNG, JPG, or PDF. Use Text Masking when you only need to mask typed Aadhaar numbers. Enter one number per line, choose a masking format, review validation messages, then copy or download the masked text.
